The dinner will be attended by five jurats who are owners and winemakers from the Saint-Emilion region and will showcase nine leading wines from the Saint-Emilion, paired with an exceptional five-course menu created by the team at Bohemia.

We are delighted to announce that there will be an extraordinary chapter meeting of the Jurade de Saint-Emilion in Jersey on March 24th followed by a dinner and fine wines at Bohemia. Founded 800 years ago with roots in the same history as our local jurats, the Jurade was revived in 1948 and preserves the memory of Saint-Émilion wines and promotes them all over the world. As a link between past and future, this prestigious confrérie of men and women organizes receptions and induction ceremonies at which just 3000 personalities and celebrities from around the globe from the world of business, arts, hospitality and politics have been invited to join as advisors to the 140 Saint-Emilion Jurats (members of the Jurade) and ambassadors of the wines of Saint-Emilion. Five islanders, including the Bailiff of Jersey, will be inducted at a ceremony which will take place at St Thomas’s Church in St Helier at 5.30 p.m. on March 24th, 2026. All islanders are welcome to attend to watch the ceremony.
Following the ceremony there will be an invitation-only dinner in a private room at Bohemia with welcome drinks from 7 p.m. for the Saint-Emilion and Jersey Jurats, the islanders that will be inducted and their family and friends and other invited guests who have an interest in fine Saint-Emilion wines. The dinner will be attended by five jurats who are owners and winemakers from the region and will showcase nine leading wines from the Saint-Emilion region paired with an exceptional five-course menu created by the team at Bohemia. Please note those on the same booking will be seated near one another but tables may include other guests including our guests from Saint-Emilion. We request that all those who attend the dinner should attend the induction ceremony at St Thomas’ Church.
